Announcement of Partnership with Galway Parkinsons Association
Corrib Physiotherapy announces new partnership with the Galway Parkinsons Association to provide first class physiotherapy service to their members.
Corrib Physiotherapy which is run by Chartered Physiotherapists James Diskin and Donna Kitt will provide Physiotherapy to Galway Parkinsons Association in Galway City, Athenry and Tuam starting in November 2014.
Corrib Physiotherapy which provides a Chartered Physiotherapy Service in their busy Barna and Claregalway Clinics have been busy preparing a comprehensive and first class physiotherapy programme for people with Parkinsons Disease.
Ultimately, physiotherapy will improve the participants’ quality of life. The physiotherapy will be in weekly group exercises sessions. Physiotherapy is effective at helping patients manage their Parkinsons symptoms such as ‘shuffling gait’ and ‘freezing episodes’. Participants will have improved mobility, be stronger and have better balance.
