Mayo Parkinsons Association
Corrib Physiotherapy have partnered with the Mayo Parkinsons Association to provide a Chartered Physiotherapy service to their members. This has proved a very successful service and the numbers of people with Parkinsons Disease receiving physiotherapy has doubled in 12 months.
In March 2017, due to demand, the physiotherapy service expanded by opening a satellite physiotherapy service in Belmullet, Co. Mayo.
If you are a person with Parkinsons living in Mayo or surrounding counties you can access physiotherapy services by becoming a member of the Mayo Parkinsons Association. You can do this by contacting Caroline McLoughlin, Chairperson on 087 932 4646.
Physiotherapy takes place in Castlebar on Saturdays and Belmullet 2 days Fridays per month.
